Abandoned Love Records was founded in December 2004 in San Francisco, CA, then had a wonderful stint in Austin, TX and now resides quietly in Seattle, WA. We specialize in indie rock, lo fi, dream pop, and instrumental music of the highest order.
Abandoned Love Records is named after a little-known Bob Dylan song. Dylan first performed a solo acoustic version of "Abandoned Love" at a club called the Bitter End in New York City on July 3, 1975. Audience member Joe Kivak recorded the performance, which has circulated widely for three decades. Read more about it here. A studio version of "Abandoned Love" was released on the Biograph boxset.
