Straight out of the dense fog of the Bay Area, Marc Manning, Brad DerManouelian and Justin Wasterlain are Tied to the Branches. Committed to stirring every speck of dust into their swirling caldron of sound, Tied to the Branches create fuzz, reverb, echo heavy, feedback laden, psych rock / shoe gaze anthems. Ghostly and hushed vocals blend in with howling feedback, ominous bass and chilly delay soaked electronic drums describing a world of spirits, monsters, and ghosts. Tied to the Branches’ self-titled debut EP was released on limited edition CDR and digital by Abandoned Love Records in 2010.  Light of Day, It’s OK builds on the ethereal sonic template of their debut, adding hints of sludge rock and more propulsive rhythms. A seasoned veteran of the underground music scenes in San Francisco, Portland and Philadelphia, Marc Manning has a prodigious body of work under the Everything is Fine moniker and his own name, crafting a steady stream of releases through the likes of Tract Records, Amelia Records and Dragon’s Eye Records.  Tied to the Branches marries Manning’s gossamer space rock with throbbing drums and bass from Brad DerManouelian and Justin Wasterlain.
